"Moira’s Orc is the first book in the Wall Haven Chronicles. With Randa’s first release she has created a compelling adventure that takes place in 1890s Montana. The title character, Moira, is a strong young lady that lives at odds with her place in society. When she meets Enoch, an Orc, who is also out of place in the wilds of Montana, Moira’s life will take a new direction.

With strong characters and a host of challenges, Moira’s Orc, like all good fantasy stories, is an allegory of the challenges that everyone can relate to, as well as reflecting the challenges of any society. The thematic elements of prejudice, race relations, sexism, fear of the unknown, the influence of power, and how getting to know someone can change how you think about “the others” are all explored in Moira’s Orc.

As a life-long reader of the fantasy genre, I really enjoyed this first book by Randa Nichol."

"A fantastic story that will take you for a wild ride. I feel sorry for Moira and how she is treated. I loved her outspoken ways and her kindness to others. You can't help but fall in love with Enoch. He is gruff and aggressive, but he is also very gentle and sweet in his own way. These two go through many ups and downs before they find their happy ending. I look forward to reading more in this series"
